Join the New Hope team!

As New Hope expands operations, we are excited to expand our team! We are hiring for two positions starting in March 2025. Both are excellent opportunities to serve newcomer refugee families by embodying the spirit of welcome and hospitality, and building intentional community. 1. Live-in Resident Assistant – Surrey (volunteer position)

Does community living excite and energize you? The Resident Assistant position offers a rare and meaningful opportunity to engage in the daily rhythms of giving and receiving hospitality, and cultivating cross-cultural friendships while living in our Surrey building at a below market rental rate. This position is well suited to a couple or small family seeking a deeply rewarding experience of community living.

2. Program Assistant (part-time paid)

Do you care deeply about welcoming newcomers? The Program Assistant will play an integral role in building and forming the community culture at our New Westminster site. This includes organizing weekly social activities and monthly community dinners, and building relationships with newcomer refugee families. In addition, the Program Assistant will play a supportive role in the broader life of the organization.
