Welcoming and Supporting Refugee Families in the Lower Mainland

New Hope provides housing and a community of support for refugee families as they transition into life in Canada. We own and operate two buildings, a 13-unit building in Surrey and an 11-unit building in New Westminster. We partner with local settlement agencies to help refugee families access resources they may need.

Through our dedicated staff and generous volunteers, we provide support services such as language training, educational assistance, volunteer and employment opportunities, and more. Moreover, we create a supportive, welcoming community for newcomers to gain their independence and thrive.

We’ve seen the lives of residents transformed and hope renewed. It is our joy, commitment and passion to continue this mission.

“Having a place to live means there are no problems because you are home.”
