Welcoming and Supporting Refugee Families in the Lower Mainland

New Hope provides housing and a community of support for refugee families as they transition into their new Canadian life. We own and operate two low-rise buildings, one in Surrey and one in New Westminster.

Our dedicated staff and volunteers partner with local settlement agencies to ensure refugee families access the resources and support services they need such as language training, educational assistance, volunteer and employment opportunities, and more. Moreover, New Hope creates a welcoming community of care for newcomers to start their lives afresh in Canada and gain independence so they will thrive in their new home.

New Hope residents experience transformation as they move from a place of instability to a place of thriving and confidence.  Hope is renewed as newcomer refugee families rebuild their lives in the midst of a caring and deeply engaged community. It is our joy, commitment and passion to continue this mission.

“Having a place to live means there are no problems because you are home.”
